Cold or Hot Muscle therapy
You have a lot of options when it comes to how you treat your stressed muscles. They vary in what you can do and what will work with your schedule. Cold therapy is a popular choice, but warmer methods are just as relaxing.
Cold therapy is an easy idea. You just cool the muscles down to relax them into comfort. If you are recently injured, then this will help reduce your body’s natural swelling response. It may have been useful to our ancestors, but it will only hinder you now. If you are having regular problems, then you can just buy a few ice packs to handle your needs as they arise.
If this doesn’t appeal to you, then you can look for a heating pad and try to use warmth to massage the muscles. This will not work that well for recent injuries. Cold treatments reduce swelling better. If you are dealing with steady pain though, then a heating pad could be the perfect thing to just warm it away. They are also really easy to apply, so you shouldn’t have any problems with them interfering in your life. Just tear the tabs and slap them on. Then just let your muscles relax.
