arts A French painter Claude Monet also known as Oscar Calude Monet, who was born in 1840 was the founder of French impressionist painting. In 1851, Monet joined the secondary school of the art where he was known as the charcoal caricatures. He then took his first lessons from Jacques Louis David and his first mentor was Eugene Boudin who taught him about oil paints. Monet paintings consisted basically the philosophy of expressing one view point before the nature. The paintings talks about the air and landscape expressions. He then traveled to Paris to witness the painters who copy from the olden paintings. He painted his famous painting Impression, Sunrise in 1872 and displayed in Paris. He later then married Camille Doncieus and gave birth to two boys Michel and Jean. In 1879, she had been caught with tuberculosis and died; he also painted her on her death bed. After couple of years, he kept on traveling to study about the painting of landscape, seascapes and landmarks. In 1883 he got married again to Alice soon after couple of year she passed away and her daughter married to Monet’s son Jean who took care of the Monet in his last few days. Calude Monet died due to lung cancer in December 1926 at the age of 86.
