Shopping
I am having a good sort out of my wardrobe at the moment. It is getting too full and I am sure I must have things that are in the wrong size and I can throw away as well as things which I just do not want to wear any more. There must be a reason why I stopped wearing things. I was quite ashamed when I found a carrier bag, in the back under some shoes containing two womens bathing suits and a beach cover up which I have never warm and do not even remember buying. The receipt was in the bag and it was dated 10 years ago and I suppose must have been when I planning a foreign holiday which I never went on. I probably could have taken them back but now they will have to go to a charity shop because they are so old. Hopefully someone will get some use out of them but I am sure I will never be that thin again. I decided, anyway, to only keep things which are the size I am now as I have decided to not lose or gain weight as I no longer want to do the dieting thing ? after all these years I am sick of it!

Food
Many people forget that all you need to do in order to maintain or go back towards a healthy lifestyle is to simply eat the recommended servings of each food group each day. Starting simple is the best and easiest way to regain control of your own eating habits. The food group to focus on is the protein section of the pyramid at first. If you are eating too much red meat, you are clogging your arteries and causing an increased risk of heart disease. Substituting nuts like wholesale almonds instead of the weekly rib eye steak will dramatically decrease the amount of fat your body consumes.
Nuts are a great source of the good kind of fat and protein. They are a clean food with no preservatives or artificial chemicals that are in so many things today. I would recommend buying some bulk almonds, cashews, or mixed nuts just to start you and your family on a path that will reduce heart disease and increase energy and vitamin intake. After switching off red meat and onto nuts, the rest of the pyramid should also be strictly followed. That means no overeating carbohydrates and easy on the fats. The only thing you can exceed your servings limit is the vegetable food group.
